Administration Assistant – Extended Learning & Central Team Support

Actual location: Crow Arch Ln, Ringwood BH24 1HP

Not just an administration role. A role that makes a difference every day.

Great education relies on great support behind the scenes. When administration is well managed, information is accurate, and people can access the help they need, schools and services can focus on what matters most.

This is where you come in.

As an Administration Assistant, you’ll be a valued part of the team, helping to keep systems and day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll provide friendly, professional support to colleagues, families and partners, ensuring people feel informed, supported and welcomed.

Because small actions can have a big impact:

An enquiry is resolved quickly.

Important information is recorded accurately.

A colleague gets the support they need.

A process runs smoothly because of your attention to detail.

Every task, every detail and every interaction contributes to better outcomes for children and young people. That’s the difference you’ll make.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing administrative support, ensuring records, systems and processes remain accurate and up to date.
• Acting as a professional point of contact for staff, parents and external providers, responding to enquiries and providing information and support.
• Collecting, maintaining and reporting on attendance, student progress and other organisational data.
• Organising meetings, training events and correspondence, and producing accurate meeting minutes when required.
• Supporting compliance processes, including safeguarding, health and safety, and third-party provider documentation.
• Contributing to the smooth running of the office by providing high-quality administrative support to colleagues across the service.

Who we’re looking for:

• Friendly, approachable and committed to delivering excellent service to colleagues, families and partners.
• Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Comfortable working with administrative systems, with strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional and trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
• Calm, positive and reliable, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and proactive, willing to take initiative and respond to changing priorities.
• Kind, collaborative and committed to making a positive difference for children and young people.
