- Carry out site audits, inspections and compliance checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Lead on day-to-day health and safety compliance, statutory inspections and remedial actions.
- Manage contractors on site, monitor standards of work and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Support and mentor Site Managers, Site Officers, Assistant Site Officers and Cleaning Staff, helping to develop a consistent approach across all schools.
- Identify and resolve maintenance issues, coordinating repairs and ensuring defects are addressed promptly.
- Monitor building performance, utilities, plant and equipment, helping to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Respond to emergencies, breakdowns and unforeseen site issues, helping coordinate effective solutions.
- Contribute to the development of efficient, best-value estates services that support the Trust's continued growth.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in estates, facilities, site, building or property management.

- Possesses a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, statutory compliance and risk management.
- Has experience supervising contractors and supporting operational teams.
- Has good practical knowledge of building maintenance, construction, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Can confidently prioritise workloads across multiple sites and respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Is proactive, solutions-focused and willing to take ownership of issues from identification through to completion.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Is committed to delivering high standards and creating safe, inspiring environments for pupils and staff.
