We wish to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our team.
Previous experience of working within a school exam environment would be an advantage, although training will be provided. The majority of external exams take place in May and June, however we also run other exams throughout the year - for example, November re-sits, December mock exams and January vocational qualifications. Exam Invigilators will be asked to read or scribe for exams, for which training will be provided.
This arrangement would be on a casual basis and contingent on your availability continuing to meet our invigilation requirements of at least 20 shifts per academic year.
If you require any further information regarding the role, please contact Mrs Victoria Hoy, Exams Officer [email protected]
In return, Leventhorpe can provide:
- Excellent facilities: To accommodate our expanding roll, Leventhorpe has completed an extensive multi-million-pound capital build programme, including a new Science and Sixth Form block and a state-of-the-art Performing Arts and English block. Previous investment has included a sports complex, which features a sports hall, fitness suite, dance studio, 3G all-weather pitch and floodlit tennis courts
- A positive working environment in a heavily oversubscribed school with an excellent academic record and high standards. We place strong emphasis on student learning and achievement
- Exceptionally dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students
- Priority admission for children of staff after a qualifying period
Closing date for applications is 12.00 noon Monday 2nd November 2026.
Leventhorpe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). For further guidance please refer to the Policies and Documents section of our MyNewTerm profile. It is an offence to apply for a role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
