Teaching Assistant Level 1

Pay Scale TA1 LEAD NJC Point 3-7 (£25615- £27275 FTE Starting Salary) Actual Salary £15,597 - £16,607

We are looking for a confident Learning Support Assistant to support our SEND children who need additional support.

We will require a practitioner who is able to:

1. support pupils to overcome challenges and barriers to learning
2. work collaboratively with the class teacher , SENDCO and the children’s parents
3. attend review meetings and meet targets set within the Educational Health Care Plan
4. support pupils both inside and outside the classroom to facilitate positive social interaction with peers.
5. have good communication skills and the ability to listen to the views of the children
6. work with multiple agencies where appropriate to fully support children’s needs.
7. have very high expectations of all pupils and be a good team contributor.
