We are seeking an empathetic and pro-active Wellbeing Support Practitioner to work within our Wellbeing provision. At Haygrove School, we believe all children should receive an educational offer which is aspirational and inspirational, and under the guidance of the SENDCo and SEMHCo, you will support students who need extra help to engage confidently in school life, build resilience, and reach their personal and academic goals. You will play a key part in promoting our core Trust values of Community, Aspiration, Respect and Equity, ensuring every student feels included, supported, and empowered to succeed.

The Postholder will work with SEND team colleagues and teaching staff to deliver personalised support programmes for students with Special or Additional Educational Needs, disabilities and/or learning difficulties, encouraging responsibility, and fair access for all. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support within the Wellbeing provision, helping students manage social or emotional challenges and develop positive coping strategies. You will help create a calm, safe environment where students feel valued and are encouraged to develop resilience, self-belief and positive behaviour, raising their aspirations through consistent guidance and encouragement.

A passion for helping our young people and the ability to build connections and relationships are key in this role, as well as a good sense of humour!

We can offer you a supportive, inclusive and collaborative School and Trust community with great colleagues, opportunities for professional growth and development, a fantastic pension scheme, free on-site gym, access to Health & Wellbeing Scheme, cycle to work scheme/retail discounts via BlueLightCard, opportunities to travel abroad and within the UK to support school trips, as well as involvement in a vast number of extra-curricular clubs.

If you think you possess the qualities and experience we are looking for, we would very much like to hear from you.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
